Monthly deposits

The money that flows into your business bank account each month, which funders use to measure revenue and size an offer.

Revenue-based funders size most offers from your deposits, not your tax returns. They add up what came into the business account each month, then remove money that is not sales: loan or advance proceeds, transfers from your other accounts, owner contributions, refunds and reversals.

What remains is your true revenue figure. Funders compare the months to spot trends and seasonality, and a steady or rising pattern supports a larger offer than one strong month.

Example: $52,000 deposited in a month, including $10,000 of loan proceeds and a $4,000 transfer from savings, counts as $38,000 in revenue deposits.

Openbook Capital can usually help businesses with $10,000 or more in average monthly deposits, 6+ months in business and a U.S. business checking account.
