About Openbook

A funding broker that shows its work

Openbook Capital helps U.S. small businesses compare financing from multiple funders, with the full cost of every offer in plain view.

Why Openbook exists

Fast money shouldn't come with a hidden price

Business funding can arrive in days, and for a restaurant with a dead walk-in or a contractor waiting on a draw, that speed matters. The problem is the price tag: factor rates, holdbacks and daily debits that almost nobody can compare. We built Openbook so the cost is the first thing you see, not the last.

What we are

A commercial financing broker. We compare offers from third-party funders and explain each one in dollars.

What we're not

Not a lender, not a lead seller and not a debt-settlement company. Funders decide and fund; we never tell you to stop paying one.

How we're paid

Funders pay Openbook a commission when a deal funds. There is no fee to apply and no upfront fee. Ask us what we are paid on your deal and we will tell you in writing.

Research first

We read the fine print so the comparison is fair

Before we match a single file, we record what funders publish about their own terms, with sources and dates.

Know the cost. Then decide

Tell us what you need in about 3 minutes. We compare funders that fit and show every offer with its total payback, dollar cost, payment and estimated APR.

  • About 3 minutes. No SSN and no bank login to start, so checking doesn't affect your credit.
  • 4 months of bank statements. A specialist contacts you within 1 business day and asks for them through a secure link.
  • You approve every funder before your file goes out. No cost to apply, and no obligation to accept.
